Anyway, we run fun strength and conditioning sessions after school for primary and secondary school age children in a non intimidating and friendly environment.
Strength and conditioning sessions have huge benefits, it can help youngsters develop and build healthy muscles, joints and bones. If they are already practicing a sport, these sessions could enhance their performance. It's also a great way of raising general fitness levels. Children that join in regular physical exercise are less likely to develop type 2 diabetes. Joining in our sessions are also a great way to keep a healthy state of mind.
These sessions last 30 mins for primary age and 45 mins for teenagers. It involves learning the correct weight lifting techniques as well as practising body weight exercises. We are about learning the proper techniques and introducing the next generation to safe use of the gym equipment.
We are aiming for an affordable after school session that help children be active, there will be no goats, I promise.
